Barbara Shell:

Barbara serves as our Hospital Administrator, overseeing day to day business operations of the practice. Barbara has been in the veterinary field for over 5 years and has been in business management for the last 11 years. Barbara is committed to providing excellent service to our staff, clients and patients.

Barbara is from the San Francisco Bay Area and lives with her daughter, fiance, Cane Corso's, French Bulldog, American Bulldog and a Bengal cat. Additionally she is pursuing her Certification for a Certified Veterinary Practice Manager.

Adrienne Schwartz:

Adrienne is our lead receptionist.  She began with the hospital back in 2000, left and sold cars for several years.  Adrienne has now returned because her passion is with the critters and the wonderful people who care for them.  "I love this hospital because our clients and patients are dear to us and so many people have been bringing their creatures here for generations".  Adrienne has grown up around all sorts of animals and loves all creatures from furry to scaly.  Adrienne has 3 amazing children so her pet collection has dwindled down to just a blue Beta fish.  "I appreciate being able to love all of your creatures every day!"

Colleen Conley R.V.T.:

Update 08/23/2011: Big Congratulations to Colleen for completing her schooling and licensing  and becoming a Registered Veterinary Technician!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Colleen has been with Ygnacio Animal Hospital for 27 years.  She started as a kennel worker/ assistant under the late Dr. Weldin and has moved up to Technician Manager.  Colleen has a Labrador mix named Dozer, that she rescued from Animal Services almost 10 years ago.  "He is definitely woman's best friend".  Colleen had had dogs, cats, rabbits, fish and even a few pigeons as members of her family.  "I enjoy witnessing the close relationships people have with their pets in good times and bad. Our pets have become, for many of us, members of our family. I enjoy the people I work with and I get to work around animals all day. Who could ask for more?"

Gail Brandt:

Gail Brandt is our Technician Assistant and has been with Ygnacio Animal Hospital for 2 years.  Gail has also been a licensed human nurse for 25 years.  Gail has one cat, a handsome tuxedo named Flea, who weighs 20 lbs.

Kelli Maitland:

Kelli grew up in Pacheco.  She started working in the pet retail industry as a teenager and became interested in dog training while working for a dog daycare/boarding kennel.  Kelli graduated from The Marin K9 Academy in 2007 and started with Ygnacio Animal Hospital shortly thereafter.  Kelli likes to spend her free time with her 3 cats: Kirby, Rocket, and Kirra; her 4 dogs: Chunk (chihuahua), Bruno (pit bull mix), Bella (pit bull), Scrappy (chihuahua mix) and Dexter (Cane Corso x American Bulldog).Most weekends, she can be found dirt bike riding or camping.
